Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Squad Signals (“the Service”), operated by Max Mitchell (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or guardian where required by law.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier billed through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle’s terms and privacy notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without permission.
• Upload harmful code, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or abuse the Service beyond normal use.

5. Intellectual property

All code, designs, branding and content provided by us remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
